MILES.STERNFELD
My Story.
As a child, I was excited about adapting movie musicals into real experiences in my family’s basement. Although my musical abilities first led me to sing and act on stage, being one piece of the puzzle wasn’t enough: I had to be a part of the bigger picture. Thus, at eighteen, I started my own professional theatre company and began down the path of stage directing.
My earliest theatrical experiences left indelible impressions on my aesthetic and shaped my belief that when approached with respect, musical theatre is an integral form of dramatic theatre that has the capacity to be both profound and transformative. I am particularly passionate about musical drama and the intersection of music, acting, and movement.
I aim to explore the immediate cultural relevance of a story through in-depth text analysis, bold movement, innovative visual design, and, most significantly, my passion for music.
